Southside Market will be open for both in-person shopping and pre-order for the 2021 season!
COVID-19 UPDATE: While the CDC has recently updated their recommendations on vaccinated individuals wearing masks, at this time we will be continuing to require masks for all in-person and pre-order Market customers who can safely wear one. Although we are an outdoor market, we serve some of our most vulnerable community members and want to ensure a safe and healthy experience for all customers.
Thank you for your support as we continue to navigate this new phase!
Preorders will be accepted each week, Thursday-Sunday for pick-up the following Tuesday. Preorders can be made online or by calling 907-451-0691.
Preorder pickups will be between 4-5pm at the Southside Market, located in the parking lot of the South Fairbanks Assembly of God Church on the corner of 24th Ave. & Rickert St., adjacent to the JP Jones Community Center. Click here for directions!

Pay What You Can Discounts:
Discounts up to 50% off are available to those in need. This initiative is designed to support our neighbors in need, including those struggling with job loss, healthcare costs, or those who may not qualify for state food benefits. The funds available to sustain these discounts are limited, so we ask that if you’re able to pay in full, please do and your extra dollars will support someone who is unable to.
If you need to utilize a discount, please enter one of the following coupon codes during checkout:
SOUTHSIDE10 for 10% off
SOUTHSIDE25 for 25% off
SOUTHSIDE50 for 50% off
**Discounts will only apply to vegetables, eggs and bread. Excluded items include honey, mushrooms, and non-food items.
Forget to pickup your pre-order?
All pre-orders are made/harvested to order - specifically for you. Because of this, we are unable to offer refunds on orders that aren't picked up. Any orders that are not picked up by 6pm Tuesday will be donated to a local organization, such as Breadline, ThrivAlaska, and others. If you know in advance that you will not be able to pickup, please let us know no later than Monday and we can see what other options may be available!
